United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Orkney Grey
Tyres

Chaps.

I am going to be replacing my tyres at the same time as getting my tracking sorted Right now I am running Pirelli Scorpion Verde 275/R45/21 Y

Are these still the best choice or should I be looking at something better or different? I do mainly round town and motorway miles but nothing excessive with regards to motorway.

I am happy to put the Verdes back on but just wanted to check in and see peoples thoughts,

Thanks in advance

Hi Craig,
I had the same tyres on from new and they lasted 55k miles, griped well and were quiet. I asked the same question when i replaced them in January and it seemed to be a personal choice as to which ones are the best.
The other good thing about the Pirelli's are that they are the cheapest of the premium makes. I brought from Asda and had my local guy, who i trust , fit them.
Alan

I’d have Pirelli’s all day over Continentals - even on LR TOPIX it warns customers my complain about shoulder wear on the Conti’s but it’s a characteristic of the tyre - the wife’s new Hyundai has the Contis & the shoulders are worn on them Rolling Eyes 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............
17MY Autobiography Dynamic - Corris Grey - WOW.
14MY Autobiography Dynamic - SDV6 - Fuji White Smile
12MY Autobiography - SDV6 - Santorini Black - Dual View - Rear Entertainment - Sunroof.

I had conti on my 20" rims, they had massive shoulder wear, was disgusting.

Got MOT in September + a ride to Scotland from the south and back plus over to Isle of Man in July. want my tyres and tracking sorted for all of that. ===========================================

Don't know about 21's but I have stuck with the Hankook Ventus ST RH06 on 20's on our RRS since 2013. If you want a slightly cheaper option than the Pirelli then this is definitely worth a look IMHO.

I'd agree with the other comments about Contis - awful.
