My son’s 55 plate Fiesta got MOT’d this morning. They put an advisory for the orange starting to flake away on the rear indicator bulbs and a crack in the front number plate.

Emissions- last year the readings were:

Test limit 3.00 1/m
Absorption coefficient 0.62 1/m
After correction 0.62 1/m

Today’s readings

Test limit 1.50 1/m
Absorption coefficient 0.00 1/m 1469 1/m
After correction 0.00 1/m

Can some one explain the figures please. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

Here you go,looks lke tester put wrong year in emmisions tester unless plate limit is 1.50.Have a look on vin plate & their will be a number in a square box,all limits changed in 2018.

Had a quick look = 2.54 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

That is what they should have entered into their machine then,but it doesn't matter as it was lower anyway at 0.00 Andy.
