Land Rover experience

I have booked a half day experience at dunked this Sunday, I realise I have had the car 10months but I needed to get used to the car and then work commitments made it. Difficult to arrange. Can’t wait

Any experience of this one

Been there twice. Very good. Just do what you are told & the car will respond. The worse the weather the better it will be Enjoy Thumbs Up

Scotland 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Firenze Red

When we went to Dunkeld we were asked what we wanted from the course which as we hadn't been before we just went with the flow. If I was going again I would ask to skip the run up the hill and stay in the offroad course area, but it all depends what you want from the experience. The offroad course will let you see the cars capability and how to use the terrain functions, doing stuff you'd possibly never get a chance to again. The run up the hill is little more than a drive on a dirt road, definately a time waster unless you just want a scenic run up a hill.

I've been trying to decide where to do my Land Rover experience half day that I got with my new purchase. Did my last one 3 years ago at Honiton Devon and was quit disappointed as they just took you round the woodland tracks for the whole time which was boring after about 30 mins. 2017 SVR. LRE is always good fun, if not quite tame compared to 10 years ago

We are going to Dunkeld tomorrow.......for the sixth time..........always seem to learn something new about the car, and it’s always better in someone else’s car. Enjoy Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

The centre is in a great location, right on the loch, and it’s a great wee off road area. Joined the X5 45e club

Thoroughly enjoyed both my visits to Rockingham, amazed at the abilities of the vehicles in standard road trim, including tyres. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Eastnor Castle LRE is pretty good too. My experience of Luton Hoo was not great, too small, but Dunkeld is brilliant, especially if you can extend to a full day course 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Dave-t, that looks great, unfortunately the track we got was little more than a worn farm access road. I had upgrade to the full day with two drivers, with the morning in the offroad course then afternoon up the hill. The instructor did say there was a choice of tracks so obviously he was in the mood for a leisurely drive.

So I suppose for anyone going to Dunkeld it'd probably be best to inform the instructor whether you want a mild drive, or more interesting track so you can get what you want from it. It was all still a great experience and one I'd like to do again. 13MY Range Rover Sport Autobiography SDV6 - mine

We have been 6 times now and regularly go off road in defenders so are quite experienced. The instructor gauged what we were able to do before and during the discussions and early drive. Joined the X5 45e club
