Airbag Ecu replacement questions Range Rover sport

Hi guys

Branching off the thread I made re passenger airbag switch fault (according to dealer level diagnostics), I have be told to consider changing the SRS ecu (located under the arm rest )

Now my questions are to anyone that has had experience of dealing with this ;
Should I buy new or can I replace with one of the same part No?
Will it need coding?

The diagnostic showed B1A00 CONTROL MODULE - INTERMITTENT
Also showed internal error control module
In addition to pass airbag switch error codes. None of which could be cleared.

Your responses would be appreciated as this seems to be very strange

2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Hi I got the same problem as you had in 2016.
Did you find out what the problem was?
Any tips and tricks?

I had the same issue and it turned out to be the wiring under the seat
