Could be signs of a sticking EAS compressor exhaust valve. If it is, then it's a new EAS compressor, sadly, as the valve is not serviceable. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

The EAS exhaust valve is serviceable - I have replaced mine and the parts are available on ebay and from other compressor parts suppliers. 07MY RRS TDV6
