No power below 2500 rpm

Hi all,

My 09 sport has lack of power below 2500rpm then once it hits that the power kicks in. It has now started to put out abit of black smoke when it changes gear. Any ideas (gulp)

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Need to know the engine to help. But usual culprits are turbo actuators and intercooler hoses. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
