England 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Santorini Black
Help. Possible egr fault.

So I have a range rover sport. 2.7tdv6. 2008. Unfortunately the car lost power on my way to work. Then flashed up saying low coolant. The engine oil is fine and still the same level. Previous to it failing it was real hesitant on acceleration. Suggested Egr problem. Now it won’t start but when trying it sounds like it has no air filter. Like it’s breathing heavy. Could it all be connected that the egr has failed and the Egr cooler is leaking water? I’m thinking if I was to blank of the egr fingers crossed it’ll run fine. Long shot I know and probably wishful thinking as that’ll be a cheap fix. IF that works I can block the coolant pipes. Has anyone any tips on egr delete? Do I have to remove egr valves completely. Or do they stay on but just block the outlet and then the inlet on manifold. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. Dan.
