I was having issues where I could not get the data part of my system on my 68 plate SVR to work. Looks like a software bug with the wifi. If i connect the car to a wifi, home or mobile , all works fine. Leave an hour or so, back in the car, all reconnected fine. Leave over night and it stops again. If you go to the wifi again, it asks for the password again. The car forgets the passwords over night.[/code]

I never use wifi as I find the SIM user to use.

Normally I would but I am paying for data on my mobile and then have to pay same again for SIM. Where as with the wifi, would be half the price

But Traffic info only uses a tiny amount of data, that's why I use the cheap SIM I gave you the link for.
It is how JLR intend you to use it I am sure.

£35 for 2 years hassle free use is cheap compared to the cost of the car. They even do a free one with a 200mb/month allowance. Even that is enough for traffic!!  2026 P460e Autobiography on order
