Bit of a strange one. I've searched and found many dashboard light flickering posts but no interior light posts.

But it's not all the interior lights, just the ones in the doors and boot. The main interior light is fine.
Also when I'm driving the "r/min x 1000" words at the bottom of the tach also flashes occasionally.



Any ideas as to what I should check / try first ?

Not sue where to start as it doesn't seem a very common problem.

The flashing bottom of the tacho is a fairly common issue. I've never seen a published fix for it though.

Your flashing interior lights, are they LED or standard bulbs? Kev

They are LED bright white bulbs.

Converted from the standard last year but I don;t think it had the problem until recently.

I would be tempted to replace the LEDs with standard bulbs, see if you still get the flickering. Then, replace them one by one.

If you use non-CANbus LEDs on the exterior lights (eg. numberplate lights or side markers) they will flicker. I don't think this is the case with the interior ones however. Kev
