United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Fuji White

lol so glad it wasnt me, I am in the middle of getting an 68 plate SVR and at first was "WHAT!!! £800"
Then you delve deeper, so he says he gets 100 miles on a tank. Tank size is 104 L. 104 x £1.25 per liter = £130 to fill.
£800 = 6 fills. so thats 6 x 100 miles 600 miles, yet its only 430 miles tops. None of his maths, comments make any sence, so why bother????

He should be named and shamed. If he does have this so called super car business, he is a con man and should be investigated. Imagine the tax he is trying to claim lol

I reckon he's a delivery driver and is just sitting in someone else's car to do his video. Rolling with laughter 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

There's a lot of hyperbole on YouTube car channels - just like there is on TV shows.. I've lost count of the number of times someone on Wheeler Dealers/Car SOS/etc has said something like "These are impossible to get, so if this is broken we'll have to scrap the car!" and sat there looking at the TV thinking "Except you can buy them brand new still, so...?" Laughing

There's lots of skookum YouTube content (mostly not car stuff, though) .. this isn't it Laughing Hoovie's Garage isn't bad, although he is now clearly stinking rich (the git) off the back of his fleet of hoopties, samcrac (although .. hyperbole warning) etc. Much prefer watching AvE, Doubleboost, Keith Fenner, Abom79 etc though, personally. 2014 BMW 530d Touring, 2006 BMW 650i, 2018 Mini Cooper S

He’s talking total Censored Censored .
Here’s a couple of pics I took when I had my SVR, all be it in 2016, when I went from Edinburgh to Cardiff. Stopped once for fuel. Bad snow on the way back down from Edinburgh in parts and heavy traffic. But clearly this bloke is a total Bexxend.

Even with the inaccuracy of the Range Rover App it is still plain to see he’s talking total rubbish.

As Tyrefitter said also, you could get single figures no problem at all stop starting and around town, but on a run, as the example I gave, that’s what it showed on the App.

So as I stated, taking into consideration the inaccuracy of the In Control App, this bloke on YouTube was talking Censored.

I bet he’s using Sport mode all the time which locks out 8th gear IIRC........... as well as giving you the pops and bangs from the exhaust.
I knew someone with a 4.2S/C who had to refuel at Fleet Services on a trip from Bournemouth to Earls Court and could never get better than 10mpg........... that was because he didn’t realise that S mode locked out top gear, but it did give him even better acceleration..... on the return trip not in S mode we got back to Bournemouth without a fuel stop and plenty left in the tank as well 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
