Wiper blades

After reading the many posts on wiper blades, I decided to go OEM as there were contradictory posts on what was the best or worst. Some said one type was great & others said they were rubbish. Also OEM do not present you with a host of generic fixings that you had then to decide were the ones for you.
So email yesterday afternoon to Dan @ Duckworths, £45 delivered (yes I know I could have searched the world to save £44.99 Rolling with laughter Delivered this morning, great service, thanks Dan. Your replacement has big shoes to fill.

You meet the point.... Bow down

Seems it´s a nature of us to go for a “hunt” for a low price and “maybe” better product around...
I also go just for the OEM, as all others where not better at the end. 2012 RRS HSE SDV6, BOURNVILLE 12/12-10/14

New point of contact for the time being will be Sophie.

She will monitor the forums daily but may be easier to contact directly for any requests, she's been with the company for 5 years.
She has been briefed on discounts, free postage etc.

The Bosch Blades where always best quality and first choice for me..

The only reason to stick on OEM for me is, only those are delivering good results at higher speeds, from 120 km/h onwards.
I think this is an aerodynamic problem for aftermarket blades, especially at the L494 RRS. The L320 worked well with aftermarkets.

For the Defender its anyway, but for my RRS at the Autobahn it is needed, as I have long distances sometimes at 150-180 on light/middle rain..., when the Blade fly´s it dosent work and you see nothing.

Just in case somebody has the same driving profile... Wink 2012 RRS HSE SDV6, BOURNVILLE 12/12-10/14

Like most people I have tried several brands with no real success. However came across Denso Hybris blades at Europarts.co.uk that are identical to the OEM and so far working fine and the real bonus is that they have promotional discounts, currently 50% off so the already discounted price of £39.98 cost me £19.99 delivered. A bargain
