AUX In Static Help

I’ve been fitting CarPlay to a L494.
- problem is that the audio is delivered via Aux In. And the Aux In suffers from static at mid and Hugh volumes.

Any ideas on how to reduce this?

I have removed all the CarPlay kit from the car and anything else connected to cigar lighters etc.

Any suggestions?
