To be honest it’s not a bad car,the heated seats & steering wheel heat up a lot quicker than they do in my AB.The only downside is no gear stick the one I took out when mine was in for service was a R Dynamic with the stick & higher spec which I liked a lot better than this one.

The joys of using main dealers, I'm afraid.

The DS is a decent vehicle. Sure, it's different to the RRS but's still comfortable, roomy, can be well spec'd etc. My indy uses them as loan cars (used to be FL2s) and I've always found them to be entirely reasonable for the day - and infinitely better than walking thirty miles or using local public transport. Rolling with laughter

S'funny how some people get precious about these things - although even I did draw the line at the Hyundai i10 I ended up with once! That was from Enterprise and was going to cost me money - the main dealer didn't have any loan cars available even though it was all booked, so they got Enterprise involved. I took it home, then took it to my local Enterprise location and got picked up by SWMBO. I did find that all rather annoying as that was LR's Approved Warranty scheme and didn't work as advertised thanks to the dealer messing up. It was shortly after that that I started using an indy and never looked back.

LR main dealers really are rubbish. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
