oil change tonight

Hi

the oil arrived this morning about will do the change tonightas the pump should arrive also

bellow is the oil i ordered

if i read the instructions correct the oil needs to be warm and extract with the pump

fill with 6 litres

i may need to reset the counter

Warm oil helps the flow.
Refill with the same amount that you take out.
Change the filter... 2011 MY D4 HSE
Previously 2001 D2 TD5, 1996 D1 300Tdi, 1985 90 2.2 petrol.

that's the plan as you can gather i haven't done anything like this for a very long time
but im not paying for how ever many oil changes in-between services as it was services just under 4 months ago

How will you reset the on board computer? Does it not need a plug in tool to carry this out? Visitor from fullfatrr.com

i have been informed that this will do it

1) Turned on ignition (foot off brake)
2) Open Hood
3) Open Driver door
4) hold brake & gas for 30 seconds
5) Let off brake gas
6) Turn off ignition.

hi

i did the oil change

using he pump and the oil
it is very straight forward

the reset also worked
