Bonnet catch

1st post.
The o/s bonnet latch on my 06 plate isn’t releasing. The n/s work fine and the handle is fully home. Suspect cable has snapped or detached from o/s latch. Any easy method to release manually?

If I remember correctly, the cable routes from the lever in the near-side foot well, through the near-side catch, terminating at the off-side catch. So I'm guessing that the cable hasn't snapped. When mine failed, it was the spring, and was easy to replace the catch. Try having someone pull the lever, while you push the bonnet down on that side slightly. It may help it to release. Thumbs Up
