Power Steering Pump - L320 - 2.7 Td V6

How much of a PITA is changing the power-steering pump? When I turn the wheel I get a graunching noise from the area of the pump and the reservoir can be seen shaking. If I can get a replacement, I have a matter of a few hours to change it before I need to use the car - how much disassembly and faffing about is involved?
