I fitted these poly bushed front lower control arms over the weekend. All my knocking, wobbles and chattering have disappeared. Ride is a little harder but I’m thinking I’ll have a play with the tyre pressures to compensate. It now corners like the wife’s Focus ST line! 2012 5.0 SC AB

Does anyone know how the 4 year warranty works on the AF arms? From what I understand the LR gen parts carry a 2 year warranty whereby if they fail, you take the car to a LR workshop and they will replace them FOC (providing they are happy they were fitted correctly I imagine),

Never thought about the fitting side of things. I assume if one fails in the 4 year Warranty period you are liable for removing and fitting but if (like mine) the rear bolts are seized in and you have to cut the arm out, then what? 2012 5.0 SC AB

That's what I was wondering. As was suggested to me, LR would pick up the labour if theirs fails which seems very generous if they have not fitted them. Guess that, not the case with the AF ones. That being said, providing they are fitted correctly, they should be good for 4yrs.

I hope I’ve fitted them correctly, apart from cutting the rear bolts out and setting the ride height (I used the real measured height rather than the figure in the manual as I’ve lowered mine by 10mm) it wasn’t to difficult. I spent more time cleaning the muck and rust off and the doing some chassis painting. 2012 5.0 SC AB
