Radio and Sat Nav will not power up

Hi guys and girls this is my first post as I am customising my first RRS it is a 2006 HSE LUXURY, I have been modding it inside and out so have had the doors and tailgate open for more than normal it has a new Exide higher power battery fitted all has been fine except for tonight I have just gone to it to try a new audio cable ( non powered) but when I opened the car neither the radio or sat nav / info display screen will power up and the climate control will not work. The car is not running at the moment as it has run out of diesel and I have not yet primed the system. Any help is welcomed

As these vehicles gradually power down circuits as the battery goes flat, the Audio system being one of the first casualties, I think I would initially check the charge state of the battery. Even if it is a new battery.
