Scotland 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey
Serious discounts being offered!!

Visited my local LR dealer yesterday to check out a RRS in Stornoway – the colour of my pending TDV8. Colour looks good and will certainly be easier to maintain than Java, which 30 seconds after it was washed, etc etc.

Anyway, they had an HST in silver…been there for over 3 months without a sniff of interest. They reckon, they may have to discount it about £7k to move it on. They’ve been offered a few by other dealers who have had no interest even at silly money.

They also have new TDV6s in stock waiting for owners, but not a chance for a TDV8…six months wait, if you’re lucky. .

There is absolutely no substitute for a genuine lack of preparation.

TDV8 HSE MY10 with pretty much everything including a vase of daffs on the back shelf, tropical fish collection in the centre console, hamsters in the spare tyre and finally sheep on the passenger seats.....for weight distribution, what else??

I can understand people not wanting the HST but its a bit worrying about no punters for the TDV6, this will surely have an impact on the resale value of the second hand V6, or P/X : against a V8 Crying or Very sad some of my Previous cars

My thoughts entirely Envoy. Crying or Very sad

Although, whilst the TDV8 is still only available new, not secondhand, I dont think it'll matter too much to the current resale values. However, a different story perhaps six months hence? Lucky they're quite a bit more expensive, and a high desire for the early ones should keep the overall RRS market bouyant and compress prices upwards. Please correct me if I'm wrong.., I'm no car dealer (no, I make an honest living). Cool
