Rear brake backplates

Hi lads
Think I will need to change my rear brake backplates starting to get quite corroded . How easy are these to do and any hints tips on how to do them would be appreciated.
I have seen the video of British Atlantic showing split plates so the rear hubs don’t have to be removed.
Is this an option has anyone replaced them this way.
I have heard that when changing them if you disturb the rear wheel bearings they will probably need replaced.
Any help advice would be appreciated.

Cheers Jock Thumbs Up

To fit the one piece ones, the wheel bearings do need split and replaced

You will need a hefty press for them
