BlackVue DR900S-2CH

Hi All,
I was asked to supply a few pics of the install of the Blackvue..

I didn't do this myself I had it done as part of a package I put together with a company
called Ghost Installations who are known also as 999 Vehicle Security Ltd..

As always I did some in-depth investigation into the items they offered and what others
have available and I decided on the following;

MetaTrak CAT 5 / S5 VTS with deadlock,
Ghost 2 Immobiliser,
BLACKVUE DR900 S 2CH 4K FRONT AND REAR DASHCAM (With Wifi & Cloud)
BLACK VUE POWER MAGIC..

Yes I know its a bit of overkill, but as I have found out they all work very well..

As you can imagine the Tracker & Ghost items are tucked away somewhere even I don't know where,
but I can confirm they both work perfectly..

The Blackvue is on the front mounted as below;

Very neat, and invisible to the driver

The Rear is;

The rear one I have had to modify the mount a little as it would not stick to the plastic trim,
the mount is designed to stick to the glass, so I had to screw through as close to the edge
as possible to give a solid and permanent fixing..

Then came the fun..

My phone (Nokia 6) would not connect to the WIFI, so the fitter aligned it all camera's
and I was left to work out what I needed to do,
I contacted several people on here that had or had previously had the Blackvue fitted,
and they all had versions of the iPhone, I then messaged the fitter and he was using an
iPhone 7, so I have taken the plunge and purchased a new iPhone 7+

Once I got the iPhone I was able to connect to the WIFI, and watch live views and see all the
events that were stored, this was great but if I was out of WIFI range I couldn't connect..
So I turned again to the people on this forum for advise and help, and the answer was a
Hotspot was required, so I have now got the one in the thread attached
https://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic54107.html..

So I now have a fully functioning Blackvue Dashcam, with full WIFI & Cloud..

The only thing now is I need to maintain charge in the Hotspot, and the cars battery,
although the Blackvue stops at the 12v level, the battery level goes lower if both are connected.

This will be dealt with in the very near future..

Thank you for ready this I hope it gives some help or guidance to others..

And I said in another thread, thank you to all that helped me sort this out.. ===========================================
