Andy - was considering self painting the tips but apparently one has to be careful with the curing and gentle heating up of exhaust on stages afterwards so it bakes on properly .
Am I right in this ? N

I have read similar to what you’ve said there yes but I left it in the hands of an expert (car was in anyway) so I’m unsure of the exact process. I think half the battle would be good prep, the right product and time to let cure.

When it was on the cards for me doing a DIY job I researched the process on YouTube. I understand maybe some wouldn’t fancy having a go but if you’re an enthusiast why not have a go? If time allows of course!
