Hi Chaps last few days both folding mirrors fold alright, but when trying to unfold them only the left works and i have to help the one on the right by gently pushing it.

Does it appear like it tries but just doesn’t have the umph or not trying at all?

If it was me, I’d swop the left to right with help (obviously you can’t bolt them in) and see if the fault moves with the mirror. If it does it’s probably a bad motor or connection.

If it’s a bad motor you could get another or buy a pair of Late Disco 4 mirrors (good price on eBay at moment), that’s what I did when someone knocked mine off. 2012 5.0 SC AB

Quite possibly crud in the mechanism. Try pushing the mirror gently forward (don't force it) and spray some lubricant (I used silicone spray) inside it. I did this to mine as it was struggling to move and it certainly helped.
