It's been assessed by the bodyshop. What's the cost of repair?

Due to repairs being in access of cars value. ( car value's have plummeted ).

Insurers recommended/contracted bodyshop - total loss.
Independant bodyshop - £4k (new parts).
Independant bodyshop - £3k (used parts).
DIY - £2k (used parts & if lucky panels same colour).

If it were my car (& a good one) I'd insist on it being repaired 2006 RRS 2.7 HSE.

What's more shocking is the retail price of the headlight from JLR is £1,404 + VAT
