Another EPB issue

I’ve had the amber light and flashing light for a few days. Hawkeye says U2002 - general switch failure. I replaced the main switch (hand brake lever) and all good till today.

Both lights are back and switch is non- functioing Censored Censored Censored

No screeching, no groaning, just silence and both lights.

I have also read about worn wires inside wheel arches, I assume I need to remove said wheel arch liners? Previously owned 1999 Disco 2 TD5
Disco 3 HSE TDV6 2007
Gone 2007 TDV8 RRS1 in Buckingham Blue.
