I had a FFRR TD6 for 4 years , did 110 K miles in it. The engine is the loudest diesel I've ever had and teh fuel ecomony was rubbish , 21.5 on average, if its was the only option I;d buy the petrol version. Compared to the TDv6 abd TDv8 its ancient. Currently waiting for my RRs TDV8 ( was buying a FFRR TDV8 but had to wait till april, test drove a TDv6 RRs for two weeks and was one over).

RRS TDv8 expected tomorrow.

Man what were you doing to that car? 21.5...I've got to contend with the S/C boys on my 5 series economy of 15-16 around town at best with me driving so to be honest 21.5 is no biggy Very Happy lol!!.
My friend who has his Td6 gets 23.5 around town and 29 on the motorway. To be fair the FFRR is basically a box on wheels! There isnt very much about it thats aerodynamic. The RRS is a lot better 1 because its smaller and weighs less (I assume) but also because its just that bit more aerodynamic. Michael Potter

Ireland 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

well when you consider I was getting 25-28 miles/gallon with the TDv6 and its miles better then the td6 , yes \i know the FFRR is a bigger beast.

Still I miss thoese interior rear lights, With my new ebony interior, you just cant see anything at night with the front courtsey lights on. How the hell LR missed ths one I never know, may be the interior lighting designer/engineers are vampires. RRS HSE TDV8 Java black/Ebony interior, mud flaps,20" stormers, towing, roofrack, sunroof, cooler V8 Tasmods Sills, black badges, carstyling java black vents

The full fat Range Rover has landed

It arrived finally today, though I'm still recovering from a week in bed with the worst Flu I've ever had so not been out really...

But, it's a gorgeous car and the tinted windows really look nice. I'll get some pictures for you all soon.

Was a sad day to see the Sport get driven away.... Big Cry L319 D4 HSE

Re: My Full Fat Range Rover Vogue

[quote="RRUK"]Ok, so now you know I am changing, I should get the car in a couple of weeks as I've got to wait for my private plate to be transferred, for it to be serviced (It was last done only 200 miles ago but back in August by Landrover HQ, but they forgot to stamp the book, so the Dealer has to service it again so the book can be stamped!) have some bits and pieces fitted and get the privacy glass and tracker sorted out.

The car I'm getting is in Tonga Green with Aspen leather piped with parchment, burr walnut wood and Aspen carpets. I'm having a towbar, mudflaps and privacy glass fitted, plus some new mats etc.

Some of the cool things about the FFRR as opposed to the Sport I've got at the moment are as follows:

Well that is going to be an amazing car for you and i am sure you will enjoy it.
Would you do us all a favour? When it arrives or a day or two later, would you rip out the NAV screen and find out where the rear view camera connects to it. Shouldn't be difficult. Thanks. .
.
Come for a visit, Victoria is beautiful!

As promised, here's a couple of pictures of it on my first day out in it, I'll do some proper shots soon enough.

The rear view camera is excellent, what a gimmick! There's just SO many toys on this car.

Congratuations RRUK, very nice. Thumbs Up

I have always really liked the interior luxury of the full fat Range Rover. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.
