Hi Richard with regards to real world mpg on the SDV8 I can confirm that mine does 27 mpg regularly. My wife thinks I’m a bit anal but every time I fill up I reset the trip and then divide the miles covered by the gallons used after converting from litres to gallons. Mine is the new 2018 model that I tool delivery of in February this year. Prior to that I had a 65 plate model and that averaged 28mpg. The trip computer on the car shows between 28-30mpg so a pretty good indication of consumption. This latest model is in a different league to the previous model sounds much more like a V8 and in dynamic mode puts an even bigger smile on my face. Just picked up from the dealership last night having had Apple CarPlay installed as a good will gesture as ive had a few issues since delivery, despite these niggles I absolutely love the car and don’t think you will be disappointed if you go for this engine option. Good Luck on your choice regards Big Dez.(SDV8 in velocity blue)

I only have the onboard computer to report on (which is probably set to be optimistic). Mine shows a pretty consistent average of 31mpg 2016 RRS 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Dynamic in Montalcino Red and Stealth Kit |
