Exhaust tips removal

Does anyone know how to remove the exhaust tips on a my 18/19 RRS. They are attached to the bumper.
I want to let them painted black because it’s the only chrome parts on my car.

Update: tried to remove them but stopped. They are attached to the rear bumper with 4 screws each. 2 are easy to remove without removing the bumper, 1 is difficult and 1 almost impossible because of the lack op space.
So, how to remove the rear bumper? Or maybee i bring it to the dealer to paint them... Neutral

I couldn't wait any longer and managed to remove the 2 exhaust tips. It took me 1,5 hour to remove the screws but it was really worth the work.
Very happy with the result. No more chrome on our beauty!

Gijsv,

Did you paint them yourself? What type of paint did you use?

@ Tyrefitter Is he a magician? Shocked I think it's bull....
On my RS6 C7 it took me 45 minutes after a couple of times. On the MY 2019 it will take at least 1,5 hours to do it decently...
Look here why i didn't took off the whole bumper: https://www.rangerovers.net/forum/43-range...f-all.html

I let it paint at a paintshop in gloss black. Range Rover Sport P400e HSE Dynamic | Loire Blue | 2019

Apparently their is only about half a dozen screws & it just unclips with a bit of a pull,he has done loads of them.I suppose if it’s the first time & you’ve not done one before & not knowing what your doing it could take longer.
It’s like anything,I had a ford KA in for mot & it failed on 2 bottom arm ball joints & you need to take front bumper off & front panel just to get to 2 front bolts, everyone I spoke to said they were a nightmare to do,it took me 1.5 hours all in to do the job.it literally took me 5 minutes to remove front bumper 10 screws & then just pull the bumper off,I know it’s only a ford KA but the principal is the same. Andy.

Got to be saying it looks hellishly better for it.....the 18/19 facelift is just too blingy....making them look like a Mercedes....

That looks a lot more elegant...thanks for sharing! Very Happy

As GijsV mentioned, the exhaust tip is attached to the inside of the bumper with 4 screws. 3 are relatively easy to remove but the last one is very hard to reach.

I’d rather not take the lights and bumper off.
