That makes sense here is a pic?? It’s clear ish which looks dirty so I would guess a drain of some kind I assume it should be clipped?? |

I've got one like in the pic, behind the rear driver side tyre. But I can't remember seeing one behind the passenger tyre. RRS MY17 SDV6 AB

Drain pipe have one each side of my car. Sun roof I believe. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW. |

Sorry it is drivers side not quite sure why I put passenger, the good news while I was seeing what this tube thing was my boot opened ha so I have the sensor boot opening thing working as I couldn’t get it to trigger with my foot, bad news I can’t see it being that useful when I have two handfuls of shopping trying to get it to open with commando rolling under the back of the car haha. |

Possibly the outlet for the small fuel drain hole near the fuel filler cap. Catches minor spills.

I think you are right Barry, I had to fuel up today and see the same tube at the bottom of the cap opening! mystery solved although not the most fun outcome... |
