Detailed At Gtechniq HQ

Hi all, there have been a few recommendations about Gtechniq products and I would like to add to that!!
I could babble on about it all for ages or just post some photos and say how impressed I was with their product and customer care at Gtechniq Head Quarters in Northampton just of the M1.......

Some good pics there, have you any idea what they used to clean the engine bay?.Also it’s given me a idea for my blower as it gets annoying having to carry it round the car especially as mine is the double one,,looks like I need to make a frame with wheels on it.

I think that they used C5 Citrus Cleaner on the engine bay. I have the smaller Master Blaster version and it works great on all the shuts, grill and the dreaded wing mirrors that seam to hold so much water and drip all day long down your doors.... Current: 70 F-Pace SVR

I agree with the mirrors,I’ve blown mine out for ages thinking it’s all out till you drive off & stop & the dorms covered in water marks Big Cry .also the same with the rear of the bonnet but I’ve mastered that so I put the bonnet up when I’ve washed it & stick the nozzle of the blower in the holes near the rear of the bonnet & it’s surprising how much water comes out. This is the blower I have

When Iv'e washed mine, I wrap some kitchen towel round the mirrors to catch any drips. Some people use microfiber cloths. Just hate drips down the doors

Ive got the meguires MT320 with the 5" backing plate but ive also got the 3" backing plate & smaller pads that I fit for the smaller area's.So one polisher does it all,ok its not as good as the Rupes bit for what I need its good enough, the Rupes is more for the professional detailer using it every day.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I haven’t washed my GTechniq protected Countryman since June.............. the car also wasn’t used from mid July to 1st week of October and I was expecting to return to find it very dirty with dust and bird droppings as I live close to a rookery and my drive is under their flight path.........
It seems that the GTechnic had done it’s stuff as there had been plenty of rain in the week before I got home in October and only traces of bird Censored on the black roof of the car. Weather conditions had obviously been damp for a long time because there were signs of algae / green slime on the front bumper but otherwise there was very little hardened on bird muck. The GTechniq outlet where the car was treated with the Exo treatment before delivery also has a car washing service so I booked in it for a wash. The guys were a bit surprised to see the slime / algae growth on the car and asked if I would leave the car with them for some extra treatment in the areas where the “bloom” was. Got the car back the next day and was only charged for a car wash. I don’t know what additional treatment the car was given as they wouldn’t tell me but was told that before I go away next time to get the car in and they would treat it again so I don’t come back to a slime covered front bumper! Well worth the fortnightly £20 cost of having the car professionally washed and dried. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

The car looks great, I've been thinking about having mine done with Gtechnig but did not realise they had a place in Northampton not that far from me. How long did it take and did you have the inside done as well.

Thanks Autobiography1969. Looks amazing but having seen the price I think I need to get the smaller 3” backing plate for my Meguiars instead! Will look for one of them and pads I think.

Need to look on eBay for some cheap time and money too!!! Very Happy MY16 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography in Aleutian silver, stealth pack and toys.

Northampton is their main head quarters and they do all of the training and shipping of their products from there and as you would expect, they give you great customer care.
I do under 10k a year and most of the time I'm the only one in the car so didn't have the Inside done. If the kids were still kids I would have defiantly had it Done. Thumbs Up Current: 70 F-Pace SVR
