Absolute rubbish. They are basically saying that every brand new car will have squeaky brakes for over 500 miles as the pads are bedding in |

I was charged £400 for new rear brake disc, pads......... and front pads......Good price?

Assembly of brakes is easy really but they can squeak for many reasons and depends on when they squeal and the type of noise. I bet yours squeal when you press the pedal light to moderately. Are there any signs of copper slip on the pads? Do the calipers look to have new sacrificial shims on the contact points of the carrier?

I’ve chamfered the leading edge of pads (that don’t already have them) in the past and that also appears to help. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)
