If it's the original battery, it may be past it's best to put it mildly. Can you jump start it (breakdown service?) or give it a good charge, then try to start on the button. |

Garage have charged battery so that’s all good

So I’ve been to look at car this morning and both keys lock / unlock car drop windows etc.

If the car is locking etc then it is seeing the key. If the ignition is not coming on what about the “button?” Surely changing or checking that is the first step. |

Finally sorted the issue. From fuse 17 on BCM behind theglovebox there is a feed which goes to the back of the car to the wireless module for the key. Where the loom in the boot goes to the module it passes by the bracket. The wire had rubbed against this bracket and then had gone to earth. This caused this power feed wire insulation to melt. So I have had to remove all the interior and seats etc. lift carpet and check the whole harness which runs through the car |
