Has anyone noticed a whine/gruff noise when you put your car in reverse? Car is an SDV6 Autobio.

Noticed it on this loan MY18 car (600 miles on clock) and wondering there’s an impending gearbox issue or if it’s a “feature” on the cars.

I had this on my 2018 SVR, when you reversed quickly it was like a graunching sound and apparently it was a lose bit of trim hanging down!  2018 Range Rover Sport SVR arrived but now rejected!

Mine does it even when you select R without even moving.

Just the change of noise from the gearbox/engine is noticeable!

Hoping its nothing.
