3.6 can have turbo issues about £2k to sort as well as the usual 3.0 can snap the crank in a few cases about £12k but these things do not happen a lot but they can and with the 3.0 its as and when nobody seems to know but if the 3.6 has been allowed to cool properly not as many issues |

Ok, thanks. Is the 3.0 regarded as being the more advanced engine? It's a bit better on juice by the look of it, but doesn't seem to be way ahead in MPG, and has less puff than the 3.6. Is the 3.6 regarded as being old school technology? |

IMHO, avoid the 3.0 diesel and go for the 3.6: much more reliable, and much more fun to drive as well |

There are not 1000's of crank failures on the 3.0 but i would be a little concerned about it if i had the choice of the two |

The 3.6TDV8 is the better engine, no doubt. Goes better, sounds better. If you can choose between the two, then 3.6 every day. |

Hi all. Found a car and I'm picking it up tomorrow. 2010 facelift 3.6. Need to look it over with a fine toothcomb, but it looks the real deal with a full main dealer service history and it's in the right colour, Stornoway Grey, with beige leather. Can't wait! |

What he said. Get a 2005-2009 RRS (FAH500210) sat nav/dash mat here - the one that wasn't there when you bought the car. Spiffing wheel centre caps available |

Hi all, picked the car up yesterday and drove it back from Halifax to Pompey. First impressions- I love it! The adaptive cruise is wonderful and makes rolling along in traffic so easy. I had a warning light come up within about 30 miles saying the key battery is low, so no real worries there and I’ve put new batteries in both keys this morning. I then had a low washer fluid alarm which again is sorted now by refilling the fluid. The only one that worried me was a ‘Suspension fault’ alarm that came up halfway home. I couldn’t understand it as I’d checked it before buying and it raised and lowered correctly as it should and it still does. However once I’d tried it again last night the alarm cleared, so I’m wondering if I was running on the motorway at too high or low a height? Would that cause the alarm? One to keep an eye on either way.
