Lifter/tapper noise

Recently bought a 2.7 rrs. I’m getting a tappet noise for the first second or two when starting.
I’m going to do an oil and filter change at the weekend to see if it makes any difference.
I’ve done a search and someone mentioned a thread about 2 stroke oil and an engine flush??? I can’t find the thread though unless someone know any more about it or how to help? Thanks.

2 stroke is not related.

Noise probably stops when oil light goes off

Yeah it stops as soon as the light goes out. Literally 2 seconds then stops. Just a bit annoying
