My new L494 has had the alarm sound randomly a few times since I picked it up from Alto at Artarmon.
Anyway it went off three times including at midnight a couple of days ago and the instrument cluster identified the dreaded bonnet switch as the culprit. (Bonnet was properly latched by the way)
Rang Alto and they asked me to bring it over to their service area at St Leonards.
They were booked out but fitted me in and three hours later, car equipped with a new and adjusted bonnet switch and I was out of there. They tossed in a free wash and vacuum as well.
Excellent service, silence last night, thank goodness for Cooper's efforts at Alto.
Advised its a fairly common issue with the bonnet switch.
