I'm just about to order a MY18 HSE Dynamic. I can't decide what to do about the black pack!

I would like it, but I think it is really expensive for what is it (like most of the other options!).

It's £2,450 with the 21" alloys which I'm not crazy about (based on the pics on the configurator) so I would probably go for the 22" alloys which would be £3,520. I'm going for a contrast roof so already get the black wing mirrors and am contemplating just getting the standard HSE Dynamic alloys (which I quite like) refinished in black?

Any advice would be very welcome!

If your happy with the standard wheels

On my my17 I went without the black pack and then had bits wrapped in black
Saved myself a few thou doing so.

A friend did something similar and had his my17 bits sprayed in matt black using following guys to give his my17 black pack look. Again a big saving on list

If you wouldn’t mind that would be fantastic! I’m particularly interested in the wheels. Did you not like the style of the 21” black pack alloys?

The MY17 were already colour coded in gloss black. Seems they reversed this for the MY18s.

I know my current car is a MY17. I love all the gloss black detailing, just seems a big price to pay for some shiny black plastic!

its just a excuss for LR to charge another 2-3k on top of their already over priced vehicles.

As you have to manually select the bright pack.

Black Pack is standard on the AB - yes. For those who don't like it you can have a bright pack...which makes the car look like the old HSE
