Skiing

Quick question.....

Has any of our forum skiiers ever been to a small village in the Italian Dolomites called CIVETTA [ see skicivetta.com ] Nr Cortina.

I'm off on a last minute late booking with a large group of locals to this resort.

mind you - I am extremely jealous of my little sister - who has just returned from canada " Whistler " where they have encountered record snow levels Sad and its still snowing hard there now!

There's not much snow out in the European resorts yet is there? Or is Italy OK?

Cancel it MDP and come up here instead, guaranteed to be wet and miserable and to cost about twice as much as going to the Dolomites. Laughing Laughing

You won't even keep GP happy as you'll probably emit as much CO2 out the back of the Fighter Bomber driving to Aviemore or Glenshee and back as a 737 does flying out to Italy! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Not going by what I've just heard on the news is anything to go by.......... the Italians are using helicopters to fly snow to the Italian ski slopes. Everybody else uses snow machines but the Eyeties go one further and use a helicopter! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
