Kaine, the river is running a little high out in your neck of the woods. Have you got your toes wet yet? Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. I think I might have a little look at the River Severn tomorrow down at Bridgenorth. I could then drive along the side of the river to look at the flood defences at Bewdley and then on towards Stourport for a spot of lunch and then home for a warm in front of the fire. I'm up at 30ft above sea level here but near the village of Port Of Menteith 5 miles away the houses on the Forth valley have had 5-6feet of water in them since the week before Christmas, the water level starts to fall away and then we get another storm that dumps driving rain on the hills and they go back to square one again. This has NEVER happened before in this area, we have only had one dry day here since Boxing day........ the winter wheat in the fields has sprouted earlier than normal this year because it's been so warm and now it is drowning as there has been so much rain the earth is waterlogged and the rain water isn't draining off any longer. It's a great time to own a Landy I can tell you, no end of cars with hydraulic'd engines from driving too fast into flood water around here! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
