I have 20 inch wheels and because I run 285/50 tyres needed a 1mm shim I was able to purchase a 3mm AL shim ,Works fine. Was available from local auto store . M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW. |

Thanks IRBails, will give that a go then, I'm presuming your alloys were 9.5 inch wide? Do you know what the offset was on your alloys? |

Will 275's fit on a 8.5?, was looking myself but my research led me to believe that 275's are for 9.5s. Might be wrong though |

Hi, the 275's will fit on 8.5 rims but they are a squash and just means the tyre is oversized for the wheel, I did look at doing this as the offsets are then the same but not sure if it's the best idea or not |

I replace the tyres which came on the car with BFG 275/55/20 AT KO2s. Needed something tougher. No issues apparent with them after 14000kms. Both on road and off road |

Mine are the previous model RRS mags, load rating was greater than the current model mags . Off set was about 3mm less than standard, can't remember now been two years. They would not rub if I ran a slightly smaller tyre. I also thought they were 10 inch but again not sure now. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW. |
