I have recently obtained a Land Rover e-brochure for my 2013 L320 Black Edition (Thanks bonzer). There are two items in the spec which I cannot locate on my car.

Does anyone know what these two spec items are:

“Interior Mood Lighting” any idea what this is? Where it is and can you adjust / control it?

“Waterfall Lighting” same questions as above?

I am sure that someone out there will know what these are, I expect that Col will be along shortly to solve the mystery!

Interior mood lighting is a total waste of time - usually controlled from the options on the touch screen, but you will be hard pressed to notice it day or night!
‘Waterfall’ lighting is a lamp in the base of the rear view mirror that will illuminate the area around the gear stick/ cigarette lighter on the centre console just below the mirror. It is almost invisible! To see it switch on the headlights and then put a finger very close to the base of the rear view mirror and move the finger from side to side and you might just see it......... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Mood lighting is not controllable on a L320 as far as I know and can't change colour like later models. It just lights up the door handles and door pockets at night as I have this on mine. Nice little touch but at the same time a bit pointless in my opinion 2019 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography Velocity blue.

I have now had a good look at the interior lighting based on the advice from you and Tim; I can confirm the following on my 2013MY RRS L320 Black Edition:

Interior Mood Lighting - there are very small led lights illuminating the door pull handles and the door pockets. The colour cannot be changed and there is no adjustment via the touch screen. Just as you said Smarttech

Waterfall Lighting - there is a very small led fitted to the front edge of the overhead lighting panel (between the panel and the rear view mirror). This is supposed to provide "waterfall lighting" to the dashboard and centre console controls but is so dim that it is very little use. Just as you said Tim

AKAIK the only thing the Waterfall LED is meant to illuminate is the gearshift.

And if you look at the gear selector and cover the LED is does just about illuminate it!

My "mood" lighting on the pax door doesn't work at all. I pulled the door card to have a look and all plugged in, any clues? 2018 Telsa MS
