The epb should be used even though it`s auto...I`ve been told if it`s not it can cause issues. Sorry I haven`t answered your question...just passing on some knowledge as I currently have an issue too |

If parked on a slope then yes, use the EPB as the park lock pawl within the gearbox isn’t designed to hold the weight of the car. On level ground it’s ok to leave the EPB off and put the gearbox in Park

The light is flashing as there is a fault in the system. Repair the fault, light goes out |

Thanks for the responses. Today we stripped down to look at the shoes. All looks ok and readjusted as per Bodsy’s bible. Still have the screech.

I believe disco 3 and the sport use exactly the same brake system but i am wrong a lot |

I was really thinking about orientation and ease of access might be a lot easier on a disco than a rrs |
