Restricted performance

Hi, hoping for some advice, My 2011 sdv6 rrs is going into rp when reaching 2800rpm ,I have scanned for codes and get two, P22D3 and P22CF, which points to turbo shut off valve, I have tested with a vacuum pump and it opens and shuts, had smoke test carried out they said manifolds ok but egr is leaking. Could the egr cause this fault? Or should I be looking elsewhere , thanks in advance for any advice

Did you vacuum test the solenoid or the vacuum line? 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

Yes did as much checking with a vac pump as I could, going to try and get a solenoid see if it works not really sure how to test the one that's fitted, any idea?

12v across it and listen for a clunk..

Disclaimer: I don't actually know which part you're looking at, but that's how I'd test any solenoid - assuming it only has 2 pins, of course! Smile 2014 BMW 530d Touring, 2006 BMW 650i, 2018 Mini Cooper S

Update, found a break in the vacuum pipes near back of engine where three pipes join, wasn't sure if I caused the break by pulling them apart but fitted new t piece and so far so good!! No red triangle and loads of power again, thanks to the people who offered advice and I hope this post will help others in the future Razz Razz
