2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HST Java Black

Headlight still not raising after replacement

I have an 07 TDV8. I had an issue with the drivers side headlight not raising properly, I have bought a replacement unit and the problem is still there.

There is a lever inside the headlight, I have tried to play with this but it doesn't really do anything. I think this lever just alters the beam pattern for driving in Europe.

After having the headlight out it looks like the beam pattern is slightly higher but as soon as I drive it the beam drops again.

What can I do now?

Have you already had the modules scanned for fault codes? If not, do that next.
IIRC there is a module that controls the AFS; it may be faulty or the wiring maybe at fault? 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

You're right in that the lever does simply deflect the beam for Euro' driving. Sorry but I don't have the knowledge to help resolve your problem. Barrie.
