They ought to put 10% of the effort spent on this into looking after the customer base instead .... |

If LR had got it right in the first place - poor old Rob wouldn't have been able to flogg any sills |

And how many plates are we talking about? Probably less than 100.

Wouldn't it be great if LR spent as much time FIXING faults and KEEPING THERE WEB UP TO DATE as they spend on advertising and moaning at people for stupid |

Think of this - There must be some little sh*te in LR or Ford who is PAID to do nothing all day except surf the net reading forum posts, looking for anything that might remotely infringe a brand name or trade mark and then tell tales back to HO! Must have had some good laughs reading this forum's posts and those on D3!

Rob - I don't see why it would not be possible to agree with LR on a symbolic royalty agreement whereupon for each set of sill plates you sell, you will contribute X amount to such and such a charity in LR's name. Further conditions could be agreed on restricting your distribution (and possibly volume) to existing channels (i.e. eBay). You would agree to add the ® symbol to the Range Rover Sport engraving and acknowledge that these are produced "under licence" .

Rob - best get some more "supercharged" sill plates made up - no problem with them as not braking any copyrights |
