Fitting Side Runners

I remember seeing a thread some time ago about fitting side runners and there being a link to a site that explained this. Can anybody remember where this link is as I cant find it and I have a guy trying to fit them but he has encountered a few problems?

Gary, I've removed and reinstalled those f***ing side steps 3 times already on my Sport... Every time I go offroad I take them out, then eventually - after thinking about it for a few weeks - I put them back on. Now that I know where to pull and what to remove, I can do both sides in about an hour. It is easy enough to do for a DIYer, but it's still no fun, you'll see. And those yellow clip thingies that keep the lower plastic trim in place tend to break and "mysteriously" disappear over time, so you may want to get a handul of extra ones from your dealer eventually. If you need specifics, I'm your guy. Laughing

Umbertob, my confusion was with the trim, it appears I am a couple of bits missing ie the sill covers are different with steps (cut outs) to those I have on the car, looks like I have to procure some from the stealer Crying or Very sad
