Add Long Distance ability - it is a fantastic car to spend a whole day at the wheel or as a passenger - IMHO better than the FFRR that I had before it, as it is quieter and smoother than the TD6 that car had - the TDv8 answers that though and I'd love to try one of those on the same trip.

69 on the motorway? Isn't that a bit dangerous, Tim? |

I don't think the car has even got into 5th,let alone 6th, gear by then so if I went faster and it got into 6th would I burn less fuel |

Haven't they become standard issue to every Senior Sales Executive (ie rep) in the country, seem to see an awful lot of 535's pounding the motorways these days - even more than you see FFRR's 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Oh yeah - the 5 series in general is a bit of a repmobile, I agree. But heaps more enjoyable than a Vectra anyday |

3 tons of metal storming away from the lights and the auto blipping the throttle on the downshift a few miles ahead. |
