Blanking off EGR with a bluefin remap installed

Hi all, can anyone please tell me if I would have any problems blanking the EGR sensors on my 2006 RRS 2.7 tdv6 whilst using a remap from bluefin?
Not being too mechanical i dont want to do it and find thw software doesnt take into account the lack of gasses coming back in from the exhaust gasses and it messes with the map?
Also would I be likely to have the mil light come on or does my year 2006 not have that problem?
I have had a search here but had to ask as could find out for sure.

06 does not need a software patch. Remap will be fine

Have ordered a blanking kit and will get it done then move onto the next fix
