Range Rover sport 4.4 V8 - Rear Silencer swap

Just bought a v8 4.4. petrol and it has some very nice and sporty sounding aftermarket rear silencers.

Being a prud, I want to put it back to stardard, but got a quote for 250 each side from LR.

Looked on Ebay and I can get a second hand rear system including back boxes for OK money, so considering buying, getting my welding friend to chop the boxes off and weld onto my middle system.

Any reason that I couldn't use these rear silencers?

No, why wouldn't you use something that you want to use? They're just 2nd-hand stock silencers, they will not break the car. Regards etc.,

If just the backboxes are changed, the rest should be left untouched (unless someone removed the resonator as well, which is a GOOD thing). Regards etc.,
