Best fun was watching a FFRR being pulled out of a ditch by DiscoDunc! Nothing like abit of snow to liven things up!

Laughing Since when has a Passat been known for it's offroad capabilties? Or was it abandoned?

Did that FL2 go off road as well or was it just the for the fun of it ?

The FL2 did all we did in the snow, just was not out for the very rocky sections on the Sat nor all Sunday. It fairly shot around in the snow as I was just behind it, it was point car. It made it up to the top of the mine at Honnister Pass, though the clutch did smell a bit!

It's on the extreme left of this pic

Passat was abandoned, I gave the owners a lif back to it to help get it to a safer position (pushed its nose into the side a bit more). There was also an abandoned Merc E class that forced christyler into the same ditch as the FFRR. He self recovered with a ground anchor & winch (pic c/o christyler)
